Uninor to educate consumers on internet usage through ?Internet on Wheels?

Uninor has launched the ?Internet on Wheels? initiative in the Uttar Pradesh (East) circle. The initiative is aimed at creating awareness around internet usage and higher adoption of mobile internet in the circle, particularly in rural areas.

As part of the initiative, a branded van with the communication message ?Dekho Seekho Internet? will travel across areas including Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Deoria and Hata, educating people about the benefits of internet. The mobile van will also offer consumers a free experiential internet pack for a day. Further, the promoters manning the mobile van will also demonstrate the usability of few of the popular internet services like Facebook, WhatsApp, and citizen services through government portals.
