
Uninor has launched a new tariff plan offering call rates of Re 0.20 per minute. The company has also introduced the concept of dynamic pricing, which allows subscribers to avail of discounts of 5 to 60 per cent, depending on the congestion levels at the tower.
In case the load on a tower is low, the user will be eligible for a maximum discount of 60 per cent on call rates of Re 0.50 per minute. Initially, the plan will be launched in the Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu circles. Uninor’s parent company, Telenor, has already launched a similar service in Bangladesh through its JV with grameenphone.
