Uninor has set up 367 branded stores across six circles including Uttar Pradesh (West), Uttar Pradesh (East), Bihar (including Jharkhand), Maharashtra and Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
With the launch of new branded stores, the operator now has a retail network comprising 1480 stores in the six circles. The branded Uninor stores will be full service outlets which will offer services including new connections, recharges and on-the-spot query resolution to the subscribers.
Commenting on the launch of new stores, Rajeev Sethi, chief marketing officer, Uninor, says, ?Together with being the best in basic services and low cost operations, being best in mass market distribution are the three pillars that define Uninor?s strategy in India. It is the mass market customer who often requires greater engagement with the operator ? to be able to walk into a store in the neighborhood and get the information and assistance needed. This is what these stores will do being within walking distance of our subscribers.?
