Ulf Ewaldsson has been appointed senior vice president, chief technology officer and head of the technology group function and portfolio management at Ericsson, effective from February 1, 2012.
Ewaldsson brings to the table more than 20 years of experience in the areas of product management, industry development and customer relationship.
He is currently the head of the product area radio function within Ericsson’s business unit networks and a member of Ericsson’s research board. In this position, he has been instrumental in developing various products, such as the radio access network (RAN), the RBS 6000, a multi-standard radio base station and the AIR (Antenna Integrated Radio Unit).
