UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has granted a 10 year telecom licence to the Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mubadala Develop ment Company.

UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has granted a 10-year telecom licence to the Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mubadala Development Company. Yahsat will now install, operate and manage a public telecom network and provide satellite services in the country. The company is planning to offer a range of voice, data, video and internet connectivity solutions, including high definition (HD) television and broadband satellite.
