UAE-based Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (Du) is close to signing an infrastructure-sharing contract with rival operator Etisalat. Du plans to spend over $545 million on network expansion and development in 2010. The company plans to offer its first set of services using the shared network by July 2010.
