UAE’s Emirates Telecommunications (Etisalat) has raised its stake in Ivory Coast-based Atlantic Telecom to 100 per cent after acquiring the remaining 18 per cent stake in the company for $75 million.

UAE’s Emirates Telecommunications (Etisalat) has raised its stake in Ivory Coast-based Atlantic Telecom to 100 per cent after acquiring the remaining 18 per cent stake in the company for $75 million. Atlantic Telecom holds majority stakes in seven telecommunications companies in the Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Niger, Togo and the Central Africa Republic.
