The ZTE Corporation has been awarded a contract by Portuguese operator Optimus for building a long-haul optical transmission net work connecting Lisbon and Porto.

The ZTE Corporation has been awarded a contract by Portuguese operator Optimus for building a long-haul optical transmission network connecting Lisbon and Porto. ZTE will deploy its ZXWM M920 solution optical networking product, which is capable of supporting a network capacity of up to 40 Gbps, and enables delivery of services such as FC, 10GE and 40 GE.
