The impasse between GSM operators and Reliance Communications (RCOM) has finally been resolved with all operators agreeing to provide interconnection to RCOM’s GSM net work, thus averting a legal battle.

The impasse between GSM operators and Reliance Communications (RCOM) has finally been resolved with all operators agreeing to provide interconnection to RCOM’s GSM network, thus averting a legal battle. BSNL led the way by providing interconnection; other operators like Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Essar followed suit. COAI too, has dropped the idea of approaching the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal over the issue.
