Telekom Malaysia Bhd has signed an agreement to take up a 51 per cent stake in Sunshare Investments, which owns 24.04 per cent of Singapore’s MobileOne. The state investment firm Khazanah Nasional Bhd will hold the remaining 49 per cent of Sunshare. Sunshare will issue and allot 73.4 million redeemable convertible preference shares at $1 per share to Telekom and Khazanah in three tranches within a timetable mutually agreed upon by the three parties.
