Tech Mahindra has appointed Rajashree R as its chief growth officer for strategic verticals in the Americas.
Prior to the appointment, Rajashree served as the chief marketing officer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). She has an extensive experience of 20 years in retail and marketing at TCS. Her resignation from TCS was announced in July 2023.
At Tech Mahindra, Rajashree has joined an entirely new leadership, led by Mohit Joshi, chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director, Tech Mahindra who moved to the company from Infosys in December 2023.
Furthermore, Joshi had announced an internal restructuring during the company’s second quarter earnings conference, highlighting a vertical-wise focus for delivery instead of Tech Mahindra’s previous geography focused structure. The new CEO has created six focused business units, including Americas communication, Americas technology media, Americas diversified, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), APJ (Asia-Pacific and Japan) and India. The reshuffle was effective January 1, 2024.
