TE Connectivity has completed the acquisition of its Raychem Corporation?s stake in the telecom business of their joint venture, Raychem RPG. The telecom business is involved in the manufacturing of cable joints, transformers and insulation products for the energy sector. TE would now integrate the telecom business into its networks solution division.
TE connectivity has also launched a new manufacturing facility at Vasai, Mumbai, which will be used for offering telecommunication engineering services to the fibre market in the Southeast Asia region.
Raychem RPG was established as a JV by Raychem Corporation and RPG Enterprises in 1989.
