The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has urged the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to discuss utilising spare infrastructure capacity of BSNL for virtual network.
As per the DoT letter, dated March 18, 2024, the officials will be convening a meeting on March 27, 2024 at Sanchar Bhawan.
Chennai-based Plintron had sought tribunal intervention after the BSNL’s lethargic approach despite commercial agreement between the two entities.
