Tata Teleservices has opted for 4-year moratorium on adjusted gross revenue (AGR) payments.
Earlier, Department of Telecommunications (DoT) had issued notification, seeking clarity from telecommunications companies on whether they wanted to opt for 4-year moratorium on AGR and spectrum charges dues. To this, Tata Teleservices has opted for moratorium on AGR payments.
Tata Teleservices has AGR dues of Rs. 167.98 billion of which it has paid Rs. 41.97 billion.
The company is yet to decide on the option to convert the interest accruing due to the deferred payments of AGR and spectrum into government equity.
