
Tata Communications has been awarded an ILD licence to provide services in Russia. The company now has a direct presence in about 40 countries. It has already undertaken investments to set up the necessary infrastructure and back-haul facilities in Russia, besides setting up an office in Moscow. The operator will provide a complete range of services including voice and data services.
The company had recently entered into an alliance with Russian operator RTComm, enabling the latter to provide data services to clients around the world.
