Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) has introduced free Wi-Fi services for Rapid Metro users in Gurgaon, Delhi (National Capital Region).

The operator will offer Wi-fi services to 30,000 daily commuters of Rapid Metro.

The Wi-Fi service coverage will be available on metro trains running on the 5.1 kilometre long six-station corridor connecting Sikanderpur Metro station, Cyber City, DLF Phase 2, DLF Phase 3 and Ambience Mall. In addition, SSTL will provide free Wi-Fi access on four stations including Sikanderpur, IndusInd Bank Cyber City, Phase 2 and Micromax Moulsari Avenue.

The free Wi-Fi service will be available to travellers for a period of six months, post which users will be charged for the service under a revenue sharing agreement that SSTL has inked with Rapid Metro Gurgaon.
