Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has signed an agreement with Ericsson to migrate its international switching system to an IP-based switching platform.

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has signed an agreement with Ericsson to migrate its international switching system to an IP-based switching platform. Under the agreement, Ericsson will deliver, implement and integrate telephony softswitches and media gateways for SLT. The move will enable SLT to offer carrier-class IP services on international switching by using Ericsson’s telephony softswitch solution.
