South Korea’s SK Telecom is in the process of reorganising its corporate structure into four subgroups in order to achieve management efficiency. These subgroups will cover the mobile business, global business, internet business and convergence, as well as corporate management support. SK Telecom will also introduce a “company-in-company” system, which will enhance business accountability and help in promoting its global and convergence projects.
