DoT gives Etisalat DB nod for merger

October 18, 2010 | Archive News

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is likely to give Etisalat DB Telecom the green signal to merge with Allianz Infratech.

Reportedly, the concerned authorities have stated that the transferee company (Etisalat) has fulfilled all the requirements of transfer and DoT could proceed with the appropriate action at their end, as there appears to be no legal objection to such transfer.
