Sloka Telecom plans to raise $5-6 million through venture capital (VC) funds, say news reports.
The company will be utilising the money raised through VC funds to expand its sales and marketing team. It is planning to increase its team strength from 45 to 70. Further, it is planning to recruit people in research and development divisions.
In 2011, Sloka Telecom received VC funding of $600,000 from Karnataka Information Technology Venture Capital Fund.
