Following the global launch of Xperia Z2 at the Mobile World Congress in March 2014, Sony has introduced the smartphone in India.
The Xperia Z2 has a 5.2 inch screen and functions on the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and offers 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone packs in dual cameras (a 20.7-megapixel rear and a 2.2 megapixel front-facing camera). The Xperia Z2 supports technologies including HSPA+, GPS, Bluetooth and near field communication.
Along with the smartphone, Sony is offering users six free high definition (HD) movies for download, one full-HD cricket game, and three months Bigflix subscription.
