Shaurrya Teleservices is reportedly planning to provide digital connectivity solutions to developers to enable the internet of things (IoT), 5G and 6G in residential and commercial buildings.
The company will focus on delivering seamless, sustainable and smart connectivity experience for residents and workers, supporting India’s 63 million micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), students and healthcare systems.
The announcement follows the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) empanelling the firm as a digital connectivity rating agency.
Further, the company will evaluate properties across India on key digital connectivity parameters, including fibre readiness, in-building mobile coverage, broadband quality and IoT integrations. Properties will receive a star rating based on actual performance, aligned with the telecom regulator’s standardised methodology released in August 2025.
Additionally, the firm has reportedly signed agreements with incumbent telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea Limited and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) as well as regional internet service providers (ISPs).
The agency is also developing an artificial intelligence (AI)-based mobile application to help users identify coverage gaps in their area. Similarly, it is preparing awareness initiatives to educate stakeholders on how connectivity certifications can accelerate India’s 5G and Digital India goals.
