Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung GALAXY Grand smartphone in the Indian market.
The device functions on the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and on a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. It houses a 5 inch screen, supports dual SIM cards, dual cameras (an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera) and 8 GB of internal memory.
That apart, the device offers users multiple applications, such as the ChatOn platform and the Games Hub and My Services facilities.

The device is priced at Rs 21,500 and as an introductory offer, Samsung has included a flip cover in the box and users can download music and movies worth Rs 8,000 through the My Services platform, as well as avail of 50 GB worth of Dropbox space.
Vodafone customers can also avail of 2 GB of free data downloads per month for two months.
