Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) and Bharti Airtel have awarded 4G network testing contract to US-based test and measurement (T&M) equipment provider, Keysight Technologies. The contracts are, reportedly, worth Rs 1 billion each.
As per the agreement, Keysight Technologies will provide hardware and software products required for testing networks to both the operators and will also provide training services on wireless domains and gear testing during installation and deployment.
RJIL had earlier used Keysight’s 4G test equipment and software services for its base station design and development and also for its long term evolution (LTE) conformance test system. Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel had used Keysight?s core solutions while setting up a 4G technology test lab in Gurgaon.
