Reliance Communications expects to enter the 3G market by the end of the year, according to news reports. At an investor?s conference call, company officials said it expected minutes of use in the third quarter ending December to be higher than the previous sequential quarter on festive demand.
The company reported a 40-percent drop in quarterly profit, marking its fifth-straight quarter of profit fall, after being squeezed by the ongoing call price war in the sector.
