RCOM has entered into a strategic alliance with m-commerce solution provider Atom Technologies to offer a fast and secure platform to its users for making monetary transactions.

RCOM has entered into a strategic alliance with m-commerce solution provider Atom Technologies to offer a fast and secure platform to its users for making monetary transactions. Atom will offer multiple banks (Indian and foreign) as well as merchants a common platform on Reliance’s network, allowing its subscribers to make payments across the entire merchant base.

RCOM subscribers will also be able to purchase insurance services, DTH recharges and consumer goods as well as bus and train tickets using their Reliance Mobile connection. At present, Atom Technologies has over 100 merchants registered for mobile commerce transactions, which are secure and PIN protected. It also has a merchant acquiring relationship with banks including ICICI, HDFC, Citibank and Axis Bank.
