Qualcomm Technologies has committed Rs 900 million over the next five years to support research programmes in India. These programmes will be jointly identified by the company and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation.
Under the strategic collaboration, Qualcomm Technologies aims to strengthen India’s research infrastructure and enhance the country’s capabilities in science, engineering and next generation technologies.
The company also stated that sustained investment in research is essential for building long term innovation leadership.
