Puneet Chandok quits as president of AWS India and South Asia; Vaishali Kasture joins as interim leader

Puneet Chandok, president of Amazon Web Services (AWS) India and South Asia, has reportedly resigned from his position with effect from August 31, 2023. With the experience of four years in AWS, he will be replaced in the interim by Vaishali Kasture, head of the enterprise, mid-market and global businesses at AWS India and South Asia.

Chandok has previously worked at McKinsey & Company, IBM, Ocwen Financial Services and Hewitt Associates before this.
Meanwhile, Kasture brings an experience of 33 years and also joined AWS four years ago.
