Orange Business Service (OBS), part of France Telecom, plans a foray into the ILD market by acquiring an ISD and STD licence. The company has chalked out plans to set up a service centre in the country and invest $20 million. Moreover, the firm is slated to expand its presence to the top seven cities in the country and hopes to garner 35 to 40 per cent of its business from its Indian operations. Orange will complete additional points of presence (PoPs) in Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon and Kolkata by July 17 in addition to increasing PoP diversity in Mumbai and Bangalore.
