OPPO has appointed Sumit Walia as vice-president (VP), product and marketing, for its India operations. In his new role, Walia will focus on localisation in the field of product and marketing. He will also build the OPPO brand in the competitive mobile handset space in the country. In the past, Walia has worked with Samsung, Huawei, LG Electronics and Videocon.
