
OnMobile has posted the results of its fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011, ended March 31, 2011. Revenue for the fiscal quarter was Rs 1,333 million, an 8 per cent increase versus the comparable period a year ago. Revenue at the end of the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011 stood at Rs 1,229 million.

Revenue increased 8 per cent, from Rs 1,229 million to Rs 1,333 million
EBITDA increased 40 per cent, from Rs 219 million to Rs 307 million
Operating margin increased 52 per cent, from Rs 107 million to Rs 163 million
Net profit increased 143 per cent, from Rs 111 million to Rs 269 million
Earnings per share increased 138 per cent, from Rs 1.9 to Rs 4.4

OnMobile ? Telefonica deal in LATAM continued to thrive as services have been deployed across six countries, covering 80 per cent of the total subscriber base. We have already witnessed three million+ active users in nine months from the first country deployment and our RBT ARPU is 2x?3x when compared to India.
OnMobile has licensed its video calling software stack to several major handset, chipset and platform vendors in China. The licensees will embed the OnMobile video calling software in a range of handsets and chipsets, including Android. OnMobile also opened an office in China and renewed its relationship with two of the biggest operators in that country.
Social RBT was launched amongst four leading telecom operators in India and abroad, allowing them to increase their subscribers? base by reaching out to more users leveraging the viral effect of social networking sites.
A major operator in Africa selected OnMobile as the music service provider across all their music service offerings. OnMobile is replacing the basic service from the current service provider and extending it to multi format and multi channel.
The OnMobile RCS Phonebook 2.0 was selected for the App Garage at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona. The RCS Phonebook, a comprehensive and interactive user address book that synchronises all contact information, including friends on social networks, into one central location for easy management and live access enables mobile providers to stay ahead of communication?s shift to the Web, by offering its customers the ability to stay connected and communicate via live presence updates, live chat, and video streaming.
A leading Indian operator experienced 100 per cent growth in reverse ring back tone (RRBT) services from OnMobile. RRBT services were also launched for the first time internationally for a major operator in the Asia Pacific region.
A significant portion of the net profit and EPS stemmed from the sale of stake in Ver se Innovation Private Limited (Ver se), our associate company. Post the sale, OnMobile currently holds 17.84 per cent of the share capital in Ver se.
OnMobile?s full year revenue growth was lower due to change in contractual scope for a customer which impacted revenue but not contribution margins.
