In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Tata Communications has said that its consolidated net loss has reduced by 22.44 per cent to Rs 2.18 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
The company reported a net loss of Rs 2.81 billion during the April-June 2010 quarter.
Revenues from telecommunications and other services grew to Rs 32.57 billion during the quarter, a 12.91 per cent increase from the same period in the previous fiscal.
On the standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs 0.47 billion, a 20.59 per cent increase from the same period last year.
