Value added service provider, OnMobile Global has sold its France-based unit, Voxmobili S.A, to New Jersey-based Synchronoss Technologies for about $26 million. OnMobile Global had signed the share purchase agreement with Synchronoss Technologies for Voxmobili in May 2014. Voxmobili offers mobile cloud solutions, synchronised address book and advanced phone backup and mobile paparazzi wherein cellphone users can publish information, photographs and videos directly from their phones to website and mobile sites.

The sale of Voxmobili is in line with OnMobile’s strategy of focusing on its core products. With the closure of this deal, OnMobile realises approximately $26 million subject to escrows and other conditions.

OnMobile Global had acquired Voxmobili in 2007 for about $35 million to augment its geographical reach, especially in Europe and the US.

In a separate development, OnMobile Global has signed an agreement with Bangladesh-based telecom operator Robi Axiata to deploy various ringback tones and interactive voice response solutions for the latter.
