
Finland-based telecommunications network maker, Nokia is exploring the option of re-entering mobile handset market by designing and licensing mobile phone handsets under its brand name in 2016.
At present, the company is looking for a partner who would take on the responsibility for functions including manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer support for the products.
Nokia products can be expected to reach the market only at the end of 2016 when formers? agreement with partner Microsoft would allow it to start using the company?s brand name again. Earlier in 2014, Nokia sold its mobile phone business to Microsoft.
