Nokia signs a contract with Jiangxi Mobile Communications to expand its GSM network

Nokia has signed a contract with Chinese operator Jiangxi Mobile Communications to expand its GSM network. Jiangxi Mobile Communications Corporation is one of the wholly owned subsidiaries of China Mobile (Hong Kong) Limited. Under the agreement, Nokia will supply its GSM core and radio access network infrastructure. Deliveries have already begun and the network expansion is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2005.
