MTNL has invited bids from operators who could not get 3G spectrum in Delhi and Mumbai in the recently held auction, to provide roaming facility for their 3G subscribers on its network.
This will not only provide the PSU with a business opportunity to earn more than Rs 3 billion annually, but also help the company make its 3G operations commercially viable.
