The Ministry of Education (MoE), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Microsoft have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to equip students with skills and exposure to new technologies.
The collaboration seeks to deliver students and educators affiliated with AICTE and its partner institutions with skilling and job readiness through a variety of learning paths, technical and role-based certifications, and experiences in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, data science, data analytics, and security.
Under the partnership, Microsoft will integrate Microsoft Learn, the company’s centralised training and skilling platform, to supplement AICTE’s existing curriculum and provide students with hands-on exposure to Microsoft technology. Microsoft will also introduce students to the Azure developer community in India for industry insights and mentorship.
Furthermore, students and educators will also get access to Azure handbooks, which will allow them to work on projects that solve problems across areas such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and education, among others. The Future Ready Talent Programme will also be available for skilled students and virtual mentorship on technology projects to help them improve their skills.
