Matthew Costello, chief operating officer, HTC has put in his papers at the organisation.
Costello’s resignation follows a decline in the company’s profits and continuous delays in the launch of new mobile phones. However, he will continue to be associated with the company as an executive adviser.
Following Castello’s resignation, Fred Liu, president, engineering and operations, HTC has been given the additional responsibility of handling functions like operations, quality, sales and services.
