Malaysia’s Maxis Communications has selected US-based NetCracker Technology to manage its next-generation converged infrastructure and enhance overall operational efficiency. Under the terms of the deal, NetCracker will provide solutions aimed at managing Maxis’s core network (including 3G and IP switches), transport network (including fibre, microwave and UMTS networks) and radio access network (including GSM/GPRS and UMTS).
