This is approximately three to five times more than the amount budgeted in the previous year. The company has also allocated 2.5-3.5 billion ringgit to upgrade its 3G network and broadband services in Malaysia. In India, Maxis will spend about 5-7 billion ringgit to expand 2G coverage, while in Indonesia, it will invest 3-5 billion ringgit to increase 2G and 3G coverage.
