Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT)’s first overseas subsidiary, SLT Hong Kong, has launched commercial services. The company aims to be a major IP-based telecom carrier in the Asian region and even globally. It intends to initially form partnerships with Asian telecom service providers such as PCCW and China Telecom.
