LG Electronics and Nortel Networks to set up a joint venture

South Korea’s LG Electronics and Canada-based Nortel Networks S have decided to set up a joint venture to provide telecom and networking equipment for South Korea and other markets. For the joint venture, LG plans to merge its telecom network unit with Nortel Networks Korea.
