Lava will invest Rs 26.15 billion over the next seven years to set up two manufacturing units in the country, one in the north and the other in south India. The expansion will be funded through internal accruals.
At present, the company has a unit in Noida and it plans to have a second unit operational by 2017. All the three units will have a combined capacity of 18 million handsets per month.
