Micromax launches the Canvas Xpress 2 smartphone

Micromax has introduced the Canvas Xpress 2 smartphone priced at Rs 5,999.

The smartphone has a 5 inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels and is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor. The Canvas Xpress 2 runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and comes with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB  through a microSD card.

The smartphone features dual SIM cards and cameras ? a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.  The Canvas Xpress 2 is powered by a 2500mAh battery and supports technologies such as A-GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot.
