Kalyani Sekarr has been appointed MD of Verizon Data Services India, the IT and technology arm of Verizon in India. Sekarr, who succeeds Santosh Bijur, will lead a 6,700-member workforce in Chennai and Hyderabad. Prior to her new role, Sekarr was serving as senior delivery head, responsible for a range of business and operations support systems for Verizon Wireless and FiOS, US. Sekarr joined Verizon in 2002 and held various leadership positions. She was also involved in setting up the India IT teams to support Verizon Wireless.
