Airtel Payments Bank appoints Pinak Chakraborty as new CIO

Airtel Payments Bank has appointed Pinak Chakraborty as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Prior to this, Chakraborty was serving as head of product engineering, consumer and wallet, PayMaya Phillippines.

As CIO, Chakraborty will lead the overall technology strategy and will be responsible for digital innovation and transformation of products and services at Airtel Payments Bank. Working as a member of the bank’s executive committee, he will work closely with the bank’s managing director (MD) and chief executing officer (CEO) and chief operating officer (COO).
