ITI Limited, a central public sector undertaking has bagged two advance purchase orders from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) amounting to Rs 29.84 billion. The orders are part of network for spectrum (NFS) project for establishment of optical fibre network throughout the country.

As per ITI?s press release, the company is the only central public sector undertaking to bag two packages out of seven packages for NFS tender. Further, ITI has stated that these are the biggest orders that the company has ever secured by competing in an open tender.

These two orders from BSNL are amongst the first major orders received by ITI after the approval of a revival package by Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
