Idea Cellular has launched the ‘Smartwifi Hub’, a 3G Wi-Fi dongle for a price of Rs 2,999. It is compatible on 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands and allows for high-speed 3G data connectivity to a maximum of 10 devices. With Smartwifi Hub, the users will be able to access download speeds of 21.6 Mbps and an upload speed of 11 Mbps.
Further, the Smartwifi Hub has an in-built battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh and therefore, does not require any connection to a power supply for running.
According to the company, the device is compatible with major operating systems and will be available across all its 3G markets in the country.
