Bharti Airtel has introduced 4G services in Jalandhar in Punjab. Earlier, the operator had introduced 4G services in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Ludhiana in the Punjab circle.
At present, 4G service can be availed by subscribers using iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, Xolo LT 900 and LG G2. The 4G service can be accessed through Airtel 4G dongle and Wi-Fi Customer-premises equipment (CPE). Bharti Airtel has priced dongles at Rs 1,500 and the dongle and the CPE at Rs 2,500. Further, 4G SIM being offered to mobile users along with the purchase of dongle or CPE is priced at Rs 49.
For subscribers opting for 4G services in Jalandhar, Bharti Airtel has introduced a special pack of Rs 999 (for postpaid ? mobiles, dongles and CPEs) and Rs 995 (for prepaid-mobiles only) for heavy data users which will offer 10 GB of 4G data usage. For post-paid mobile customers, tariff plans start at Rs 100.
