Idea Cellular has partnered with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) to enable Indane consumers to book LPG 24?7 through mobile phone and receive interactive voice response and SMS-based delivery status updates.
Under the deal, the operator will extend its Smart Gas Solution to more than 82 million LPG consumers of Indane for a period of two years.
The enterprise mobility project, which includes initiating booking request, billing, delivery of LPG cylinder will cover over 7,000 distributors delivering more than 1.5 million LPG cylinders per day.
At present, the service is being offered in 45 cities across India, subsequently Idea Cellular and IOC plan to extend the service to other parts of the country as well.
